Animated Flash Panoramas

Here is an example of how Flash can be used to create panoramas with small looping animations. This technique means you can present panoramas with smaller file sizes than full panoramic looping video - while not a static panorama, not all parts of the scene have movement, so the full wrap around view can be provided by a single image, which is overlaid with small sections of animation where needed.

These types of scenes can be easily created using the Flash Panorama project which can be downloaded from this site. Since the panorama is a Flash movie clip, there is nothing to add further layers of movie clips, which can in themselves contain further levels of animation - information boxes, labels or links for instance.
